On today’s episode, I sit down with Wellness Engineer and Certified Functional Medicine Coach Jane Hogan, who reversed her crippling disease through natural solutions.
Jane shares her incredible story of how she developed widespread pain and inflammation following a stressful period in her life. She talks about how she initially tried to address her symptoms through dietary changes, which did provide some relief. However, she eventually realized that she needed to do some deep inner work to truly heal, addressing trauma, nervous system dysregulation, and behavioral adaptations.
Throughout our conversation, we dive into the interconnectedness of physical symptoms, emotional well-being, and nervous system responses. We discuss the importance of shifting from a victim mentality and focusing on healing oneself through self-respect, love, and gratitude.
Jane also shares some fascinating insights about the mechanistic view of health in our society and advocates for a shift in conversations about emotions and their impact on chronic health issues. We talk about the need to create an environment for healing and shift our attention to how we're showing up for ourselves emotionally.
This is an enlightening and quite possibly life-changing conversation, I’m sure you’ll find quite valuable.
